It’s good for your heart and new research shows it helps protect your eyesight too.
Here’s how to pick the best bottle:
• Go with extra virgin oil. It has the most antioxidants and flavour.
• Try imported. Countries such as Italy and Greece have superb quality standards.
• Go dark. Light and heat can turn olive oil rancid, so stick to darker coloured bottles.
• Store olive oil in a dark spot and use within six months.
